Offshore wind SOV's to Ulstein Verft

news-details

Delivery of cathodic protection- and antifouling systems to Service Operation Vessels (SOV) for the offshore wind industry. These vessels transfer technicians safely to the wind turbines.

Cathwell had the pleasure to participate to five new buildings within the renewable energy segment, at Ulstein Verft AS:

Windea La CourWindea Leibniz and Windea TBN to Bernhard Schulte Offshore.
Acta Centaurus and Acta Auriga to Acta Marine.

The ships have a large, centrally positioned walk to work motion compensated gangway & elevator tower for personnel and cargo transfers to the wind turbines. The ballast tanks are protected by sacrificial anodes.
